Frequently asked questions.

What’s the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Pressure washing involves bringing high pressure water to clean the surface and remove any built up dirt, mold, mildew. Soft washing involves using a cleaning solution applied to the house with soft pressure (Barely more than a garden hose) and rinsed off to remove any organic growth on and under the surface.

What should I pressure wash and what should I soft wash?

We only really recommend to pressure wash tough surfaces like concrete and brick as it can withstand the high pressure very well. Soft washing is best for siding, roofs, decks and any stone on your house to avoid damage from high pressure.

Be careful using high pressure with brick as it can tear away at the mortar and NEVER pressure wash a roof.

Is the cleaning solution harmful to plants and grass?

Short answer, no. The cleaning solution is diluted with water down to 1.5%-3% in most scenarios. However we take the highest precautions to pre-wet the grass and plant life in the area just to be safe!

Why should I pay for a pressure washing company instead of doing it myself?

We have seen countless homes with damaged siding and concrete from inexperienced “DIY” homeowners. Trust an insured professional to get the job done right the first time with no hiccups. Plus who wants to waste a full Ohio Saturday with good weather, we don’t get a lot of those!
